Não somos propriamente fãs do conceito de super grupo mas apreciamos, por vezes, providenciar caldinhos destes.

Angélica Salvi, Ece Canli, João Pais Filipe e Pedro Augusto são quatro músicos e compositores que têm trilhado, paralelamente, um importante percurso nacional e internacional nos campos da música experimental, da electrónica e da investigação sonora. Todos com discos recentemente editados, as ligações que têm estabelecido multiplicam-se entre colaborações e coedições mas nunca desta forma tão próxima.

Em pleno inverno pandémico, enquanto preparavam uma primeira e última apresentação enquanto grupo, o quarteto ad hoc aproveitou o tempo desses tempos para gravar um disco que tem tanto de frugal como de pujante, epítome do que se poderia apelidar, certamente, de transe magnético com um trabalho de composição original de voz, percussão, harpa e sintetizadores.

We're not exactly fans of the super group concept, but we sometimes enjoy providing soups like this.

Angélica Salvi, Ece Canli, João Pais Filipe and Pedro Augusto are four musicians and composers who have followed, in parallel, an important national and international path in the fields of experimental music, electronics and sound research. All with recently released albums, the connections they have established multiply between collaborations and co-editions but never in this close way.

In the middle of the pandemic winter, while preparing a first and last performance as a group, the ad hoc quartet took advantage of the time of those times to record an album that is both frugal and powerful, the epitome of what could certainly be called a magnetic trance with a work of original composition of voice, percussion, harp and synthesizers.

I just love João Pais Filipe relation to rhythm, there is no drumming like his drumming. I really appreciate the fact that he's the manufacturer of his sound, he works on his woods, he makes his cymbals, and I strongly believe that gives a completely new form to the music he makes. Joao Sousa
